Course Policies

TEE TIME POLICY

Public tee times may be reserved 7 days in advance. Groups of 4 per tee time only. If a group is caught with more than four people playing you will be asked to leave the golf course.

CHECK-IN POLICY

Please arrive 15 – 30 minutes before your tee time to ensure your ability to be at the first tee on time for your tee time. We can’t guarantee a tee time for late arrivals.

REFUND POLICY

Cove Cay Golf Club is a beautiful golf course with water on 13 of 18 holes. Holes 13-18 are along Tampa Bay. The front nine typically takes 2-2 ½ hours with the back nine taking 1 ½ – 2 ½ hours. In “High Season” or on a weekend (Fri-Sun) a round of golf will take 4-5 hours. RAINCHECKS ARE NOT GIVEN DUE TO SLOW PLAY.

CANCELLATIONS 

No refunds for last minute cancellations. 

ATTIRE

All players must wear proper golf attire. No t-shirts, no denim, no workout clothes. Our Golf Shop is stocked with men’s and women’s golf apparel and men’s and women’s dressing rooms are located at the clubhouse.

DAILY DEALS POLICY

When booking a Hot Deal tee time online, you are booking a non-refundable, non-cancellable tee time through a partner of Cove Cay Golf Club. Their booking policies are found on the check-out screen during booking. Please review when completing your order.

GOLF CART

Only 2 golf carts allowed per foursome. State law prohibits anyone under the age of 18 from operating a golf cart. Golf cart drivers must have a valid ID.

PERSONAL ITEMS

PERSONAL coolers are not allowed and will be confiscated and returned at the completion of your round if necessary. We have coolers ON EACH GOLF CART that golfers may use while on the course. Beverages and food may be purchased from our Bayview Grill or our Beverage Cart. 

Please check your golf cart after your round to retrieve your personal items. Personal items left in a golf cart are not the responsibility of Cove Cay Golf Club. 

KIDS and DOGS

Only children who are playing golf are allowed to ride in the cart for liability reasons. Service dogs are permitted with proper documentation. No pets allowed on-course.
