BROOKWOOD FLORIDA
Brookwood Florida is a life-changing residential program for at-risk girls. Fundraising dollars help Brookwood provide troubled teen girls with an alternative living environment and therapeutic program encompassing education, employ-ability skills, independent living training, and counseling that will prepare them for self-sufficiency or a successful family reunification. Cove Cay is thrilled to play a small part by hosting their charity golf tournament each year.
SPARTAN GOLF TOURNAMENT
Special Operations Spartan Golf Foundation held their inaugural fundraising tournament at Cove Cay Golf Club on one of the foggiest mornings in the history of the course, but these service men and women didn’t hesitate to tee off into the abyss. It was a great day and a fun event for all and proceeds support the Special Operations Command Center & elite military forces families at MacDill Air Force Base. Pat & Bill Shriver hold this cause near and dear to their hearts and donated their proceeds from the event to the cause as well.
