Cove Cay’s golf course is located along Tampa Bay in Pinellas County Florida. From the spectacular fairways, luscious greens and challenging target golf, Cove Cay Golf Club is a memorable destination golf experience.

The amazing views of Old Tampa Bay and an abundance of wildlife make Cove Cay a golf course that you won’t want to miss! An 18 hole round rarely takes over 4 hours to complete, making for an exceptional golf experience.

With 4 sets of tees, Cove Cay has a yardage to suit every player. Golfers can choose their length from 4,216 yards to 6,079 yards at our longest tee, from a beginner to low handicapper, we have a challenge for you!

PRACTICE FACILITIES

Cove Cay Golf Club’s practice facilities are open to the public 7 days a week. Warm up before your round of golf or purchase a bucket of balls in the Golf Shop then work on your swing at our scenic driving range.

The Golf Shop

The Golf Shop at Cove Cay Golf Club is open to the public 7 days a week from 7am until 6pm in the winter months and from 7am until 6:30pm in the summer months. GIFT CARDS are available and good for items in the Golf Shop, rounds of golf, and lunch or dinner at the Bayview. We are a PING® Authorized Dealer

The Bayview Grill

The Bayview Grill restaurant at Cove Cay Golf Club is open to the public 7 days a week with great food and views. Indoor and patio seating is available and we’re open for  lunch and dinner. Please note, our Bayview Grill is Cashless! Even non-golfers enjoy the views of our golf course and Old Tampa Bay while dining at Cove Cay. Our Chef is incredible and has created daily dinner specials in addition to our daily menu that offers something for each and every customer, including vegetarians and pescatarians.

Cove Cay Golf Club to host 2024 Legends of the LPGA event!

We are excited to announce that Cove Cay Golf Club will once again host the prestigious Legends of the LPGA Tour Pro-Am & Professional Tournament in November 2024! After a remarkable event last year, we are honored to bring back this incredible weekend of women’s golf, supporting Special Olympics Florida and Brookwood Florida. This highly anticipated tournament will coincide with The Annika Driven by Gainbridge at Pelican LPGA Women’s Championship, adding to the excitement of world-class women’s golf in the Tampa Bay area.

Owners Pat and Bill Shriver are proud to donate the course and facilities again for what promises to be another unforgettable experience. In 2023, we had the privilege of hosting 15 LPGA and World Golf Hall of Fame members, with a combined total of over 750 LPGA Tour victories, including 84 major championships. We’re looking forward to welcoming even more Legends for this year’s event!

Last year’s tournament was an incredible success, thanks to the support of our sponsors Dr. Bridget Bellingar D.O., Northeast Underwriters Insurance, Michelob Ultra, Innovacare, and our hole sponsors, all of whom helped make it a memorable weekend. Congratulations again to last year’s winner, Leta Lindley, who amazed us with two back-to-back rounds of 64!
